Verdict

John Constable hasn’t won for a very long time and is not the force of old. Miss M won twice at Southwell last summer but she might need this and Catch The Cuban also returns from a break. Chess Player needs more but Chez Hans found only one too good here last week and can race off the same mark. COPPERLESS beat a subsequent winner, now rated 121, on his second start over timber at Market Rasen in October so an opening mark of 117 could be lenient. Loughan keeps placing but looks less well treated on his handicap bow.
