Verdict

Royal Chatelier was earmarked for action at Hereford yesterday so may not take up this option. He would be hard to beat if turning up here instead but we'll stick with top weight JORDAN, despite her welter burden. Suzy Smith's mare has collected a 7lb penalty for her recent win at Folkestone but is probably improving and had any amount in hand that day. Vacario is very one-paced but there should be more to come from Normally, who was the subject of a gamble when third over C&D three weeks ago after a long lay-off. Gouranga was fourth when dropped into this grade for the first time in two years over C&D 12 days ago and could run into a place but Uttoxeter winner Inkberrow Rose has yet to prove she stays this far.
