In depth

Verdict

Brianstorm will win races when he learns to settle and this looks a lot easier than the race at Newbury in which he finished third last time. But DJIN CONTI (NAP) is an interesting runner from the Harry Whittington yard. He only ran once in France, finishing third, and is a half-brother to two winning hurdlers in Ireland including the well-regarded Chateau Conti. Voodoo Doll could go well at a price after a better run here on his second start while bumper winner Ey Up Rocky was on the heels of the leaders when falling in an above-average contest at Huntingdon on Boxing Day and can figure if that hasn’t affected his confidence. Another Crick didn’t handle conditions at Exeter but the going won’t be much better here.
