In depth

Verdict

Woodford County travelled well and found plenty for pressure when scoring at Uttoxeter. His amateur rider's claim takes care of the extra 4lb and he won't be far away again but James Banks seems to be getting the best out of the previously unresponsive BRACKLOON HIGH and, dropped in grade after his third at Chepstow, he gets the nod today. Lienosus was well beaten when having his sights lowered at Bangor while American Life, behind Woodford County at Uttoxeter, is still creeping up the weights despite not winning. Buckhorn Tom also needs some help from the handicapper and the others have a bit to prove at present.
