In depth

Verdict

Marju's Quest completed a hat-trick in late summer before well beaten at Newton Abbot where he looked as though he'd had enough after four quick runs. Those victories were on good going so if the ground dries out further he'll be difficult to beat. Winning Spark won over 2m3f here before a good run over this trip on a return visit. He didn't stay when tackling further at Newbury last time and this is much more like it. CAPPIELOW PARK had no problems with heavy ground at Plumpton last month but he's won on good going at the same track and can follow up while in such good form. Snowell is better over fences and softer ground while Shot In The Dark followed a victory over slightly further on this track in November with a poor run here a month later.
