Cruise Director has shown enough in two previous starts over hurdles to suggest that he should be good enough to take this and is preferred to Mystery Lot and Inchloch. The selection was rated in the 80s on the level and has shown promise in both starts over hurdles behind some useful types, latterly behind Alright Now M'Lad at Plumpton and a reproduction of that effort should suffice. Sakenos was entitled to need his run over course and distance last month after along absence and could be of interest on his second start for Phillip Hobbs. Dopey Bob has given little sign of encouragement so far and of more interest may be Mystery Lot, who stepped up on his debut effort when a creditable second to Bayard at Fakenham last month. Alan King's gelding is strictly held by the selection on previous running at Plumpton though, and with the King stable struggling for winners at present, he looks worth taking on. Inchloch could be of interest on his hurdling debut but Cruise Director has an obvious chance and he gets the vote.
