MIDNIGHT MAGIC’s third here last month was easily his best run to date and he wouldn’t need much more to get off the mark in this, despite a 5lb rise. Uttoxeter runner-up Sheelbewhatsheelbe is steadily improving while Cheque En Blanc has a couple of recent placed efforts to his name, though was beaten a long way when tried over 3m in the spring. Mondello certainly has the form to figure but has flattered to deceive and is now 0-17 over hurdles and was behind Sahara Haze at Chepstow in October.
