In depth

Verdict

Another pretty weak affair and Back In Business is just preferred to Present M'Lord, with Pardini the best of the others. The selection didn't do too badly last time in a competitive race over course and distance, finishing a close up third behind Even More. His jumping was fairly sound on that occasion and a similar effort today should suffice. Present M'lord is lightly raced for a seven-year-old and ran his race last time when third to You Do The Math. That wasn't much better than this race so a big run can be expected. Pardini is a difficult horse to win with but is consistent enough in this grade and has to be respected. Classic Clover is in with a squeak if he keeps his footing, but in a race where caution is advised when betting, Back In Business just gets our vote.
