Verdict

A competitive handicap rounds off the card with many in-form rivals in opposition including East Hill, Watch The Dove and Magical Day and we will take a chance on the last named. The four-year-old was a good winner of a seller last time out when defeating Oro Street and although this is much more competitive he is taken to score with conditions in his favour. East Hill rates the main danger on his latest second behind Wintertide but he gave the impression the handicapper was just catching up with him on that occasion so for that reason he is opposed. Watch The Dove is also worthy of respect. He was a good second behind Keepers Mead last time over three miles and with the drop in trip sure to suit he has definite place claims. Of the remainder, Maragun was a good second to Flame Creek over fences last time but the switch back to hurdles is not sure to suit so the tentative vote goes to Magical Day.
