Verdict

AUGUST HILL was only fifth when favourite at Huntingdon last month but was only six lengths behind the winner, who landed the Lister mares' bumper at Sandown on Saturday. The Presenting mare is worth another chance as she's already gone close over this course and distance. Royal Palladium will almost certainly improve on his third at Warwick while point-to-point winner Power Of God was fourth on his debut under Rules at Ffos Las. Track and trip fourth Grapeshot Verse may be best of the rest unless there is any market support for George Baker's Flat-bred newcomer Pandy.
