Verdict

Mascat has now placed in all three outings over fences having found one too good at Chepstow recently while Mordred disappointed back over timber last time having earlier beaten a subsequent winner in a chase at Sedgefield. A dual winner over timber, Ile De Jersey makes her chasing debut for a yard in top form and Midnight Midge debuts for a new stable on his return to action. But novice hurdle winner POINT HIM OUT will be sharper for a recent chasing debut at Kelso and a conditional’s 7lb allowance further helps his cause.
