In depth

Verdict

This should prove to be a straightforward task for Manhattan Boy and he gets the vote ahead of Midnight Diamond. With his stable in decent form, Manhattan Boy should be able to provide his trainer Philip Hobbs with anoother winner. As of yet he hasn't excelled over fences but a repeat of his run when second to Thatre Diva at Exeter should easily be enough. Midnight Diamond shaped with more promise when third to Lambrini Legend at Kelso on his final start over hurdles. He tries fences for the first time today but needs to find improvment for the bigger obstacles. Pret A Thou and Kirbys Glen are both poor, whilst the same applies to Tiffin Deano and Proud Peer. Basically a one horse race this with Manhattan Boy the one to catch.
