Polar Scout is the pick over Jolly Boy, Avas Delight and Vingis Park. Polar Scout is only relatively-lightly raced of late, and in the hope that he will strip fitter for what was his first outing in 18-months at Fakenham last month, Charlie Mann's charge is selected to gain a fourth career-victory over fences. Jolly Boy went wrong at the start of the year and has been off since. A prolific winner as a novice, he is an interesting contender if fit enough. Avas Delight will be all the better for his belated return at Exeter, while Vingis Park has plenty of weight but paid to follow last term. They are the main contenders, with Polar Scout taken to prevail.
