The Wooden Spoon could be the surprise package and Malko De Beaumont and Amber Brook appearing the most obvious dangers. Jim Best has made a habit of winning races of this nature with seemingly exposed performers but with a good recent run under his belt and a feather weight to boot, he makes plenty of appeal in a race that contains plenty of deadwood. Malko De Beaumont showed plenty of resolution for the application of first time headgear. If the trick works again, he can go well again. Amber Brook hacked up at Exeter. That was a moderate affair and if handling the going, he has to be a factor. Magnifico has been pitched in against much better rivals than this and is inspected in the market. Very Cool is yet to show the ability of his half-brother Mr Cool. Headgear is reached for in an effort to find some form. Bubbs has gone backwards while Delena looks to be very much a one-paced plodder who is likely to be short enough by virtue of her connections. Not a strong race and The Wooden Spoon is the pick.
