Dentley De Mee finished almost 12 lengths ahead of Darling Maltaix when third at Newton Abbot but both look as though they'll do better over further. GRAND INQUISITOR was well backed and always travelling strongly when winning a decent 1m2f handicap on the Flat at York last month. This track places the emphasis on speed and Ian Williams' charge should be too good for these if his jumping is up to scratch. Pokari was a progressive sort in bumpers last year but may need today's run to blow away any cobwebs.
