Verdict

A visor did the trick for AKARSHAN at Ludlow last week and he stayed on strongly to get the better of the in-form Esteem. Best on a sharp track, he can defy his penalty here with Adam Wedge again taking off 5lb. Roanstar is only 3lb higher than when second at Leicester two weeks ago and can improve on that effort while Edlomond could do better now tackling fences. Great Kicker is very modest, however, and Cantabilly appears to be going backwards and was last in a seller on the all-weather on his latest start.
