      Verdict

      CPL. DIONICIO failed to run his race on the Turf course here at the start of the month. But he’d landed a claimer over track and trip by eight lengths before that and Gerald Bennett’s charge gets another chance today dropped in class by the meet’s current leading trainer. Donnie Brasco has switched yards and been gelded since racing at Woodbine last year though has just the one win in 18 attempts so far while Fledermaus has an even poorer strike rate and Ready To Mingle finally won a maiden race here last time after 17 starts.
