In depth

Verdict

Well bred and an expensive purchase, Felix The Fox would have some stud value if he could win a couple of races. He has placed in four of his last six but was disappointing when favourite last time at Gulfstream Park. U S ARMY CORPS, by War Front, shaped with promise in all three starts last year. He was racing at Belmont Park and Aqueduct in the autumn and this might be more his level. Astroturf looks a big danger as he’s improving with experience and Channel Stuffer has a first run for Michael Stidham having placed twice for Jessica Harrington in Ireland in 2018.
