Peppay Le Pugh won four times over fences in the second half of last year and has been a busy boy again lately with his last two runs coming over hurdles. Good ground suits but he couldn’t cope with a penalty at Market Rasen 10 days ago. Airton was also beaten under a penalty at Taunton but a longer trip may have been partly to blame and he is still unexposed. PETIT PALAIS only weakened approaching the last in a Grade 2 at Kempton after making a winning debut at Ludlow and Tom George’s four-year-old looks the one to beat in this ahead of recent Huntingdon scorer Miss Mumtaz.
