Verdict
MADE IN TIME is narrowly preferred to Sizing Santiago in a humdinger. Trained by Rebecca Curtis, the JP McManus-owned gelding looks a major player over hurdles having been placed in a Graded bumper last season. His main rival might be Sizing Santiago who was well-backed ahead of his Fontwell bumper debut and he won well; his trainer will be keen to do well for his mainly Irish-based owners. Time For Spring is respected on his debut under rules, Shacklesborough shaped with promise a year ago at Wincanton and he must be considered for Paul Nicholls, whilst Glens Boy is another to respect. Grey Missile looks the best of the rest on his hurdling bow.
