This looks open but Sean Bowen gave KARANNELLE a dream ride when coming from way back to score at Market Rasen and the combination can strike again off a 4lb higher mark. She's a confirmed hold-up merchant for whom things need to drop just right but she's clearly in great nick at present and is worth staying with. She receives 16lb from Yauthym from the in-form O'Brien yard, who ties in closely with Lady Reset on their running at Kempton in late spring. Both were below par last time though, the former on the Flat, and there should be little between them on that previous evidence. Admiral's Sunset is best watched on a first start over hurdles since 2020 but recent course winner, the consistent Ayr Of Elegance, is a danger to all having scored tidily here last time.
Yauthym (GER) 28-1 (9-0) Went right start, mid-division, headway tracking leaders after 2f, went 2nd 7f out until 4f out, chased leaders, pushed along and weakened over 2f out, last of 9, 17 1/4l behind Murau (9-10) at Kempton 2m hcp (5) pol in Jun.
Lady Reset 11-1 (9-2) Dwelt, soon chasing leaders on inside, switched out over 3f out, every chance 2f out, ridden over 1f out, weakened final furlong, 4th of 8, 7 1/4l behind Dual Identity (9-4) at Sandown 1m 2f hcp (4) gd in Jul.
Ayr Of Elegance 7-2 (11-8) Made all, driven clear before last, stayed on, unchallenged, won at Stratford 2m 3f hcp (5) gd in Jul beating Malina Ocarina (11-4) by 2l, 6 ran.
Karannelle (IRE) 3-1jfav (10-13) In rear, headway going well approaching last, stayed on strongly flat, led final 50 yards (well ridden), won at Market Rasen 2m 1f hcp (4) gd in Jul beating Soldier On Parade (11-9) by nk, 8 ran.
Laura Bullion (IRE) 80-1 (12-0) Held up in rear, not fluent 6th, headway before 3 out, no extra 2 out, 6th of 11, 20l behind Accidental Rebel (11-3) at Uttoxeter 2m 4f hcp (4) gd in Jun.
Admiral's Sunset 7-1 (10-2) Held up in rear, went 3rd before home turn, pushed approaching 4 out, still well behind front pair when ridden after 3 out, plugged on one pace, 3rd of 5, 31 1/2l behind Bathiva (11-8) at Worcester 2m hcp (3) gd in Jul.
