Verdict

ON SPRINGS won at Ffos Las, with Dunbar behind, despite a slipping saddle before failing to cope with a welter burden at Fontwell. Wearing headgear for the first time, he looks the one to beat in this ahead of Captain Ivan and Cremant. The latter won over hurdles earlier this month but didn’t show much over fences first time around. Tigerten has won over hurdles and on the Flat but isn’t really bred for chasing.
