May Hay breezed home on soft going at Southwell eight days ago but has picked up the obligatory 7lb penalty. TIGER TREK (NAP) looks a value alternative as his stable could not be in better form and he only found one too good at Worcester off this mark last week following a pipe-opener. Elysian Prince was still beaten 28 lengths when second in a novice event at the track two weeks ago but Marley Joe won at Huntingdon two runs ago and Irish import Annie Alainn will enjoy conditions better than most.
