In depth

Verdict

Whipcord has hinted at ability and remains unexposed. Thyne For Gold has more miles on the clock but is almost guaranteed to run his race and Rene's Girl has been keeping better company, though has only run once since April last year and was pulled up in that. Scooby was beaten turning for home at Newbury on Friday and will do well to bounce back from that with only a 24-hour turnaround. LIKE THE SOUND is given the opportunity to bounce back from a poor run on his handicap debut at Lingfield as he’d looked useful in novice and maiden races prior to that.
