EL DISTINTIVO is an interesting recruit to the winter game and can make a winning debut with Best Oscar and Points of View the most likely opponents. Best Oscar has only been seen in public once but made an eyecatching first appearance when landing a point to point in fine style. He may find things a bit quicker here but can stay on to reach the frame. Points of View is rated in the 80s on the Flat and has the benefit of a couple of runs over hurdles, showing improved form to be a remote third at Cheltenham recently. He is liable to improve for the experience and will not be far away. El Distintivo hails from Argentina and this dual Flat winner was good enough to contest at Group level. He makes his debut for the very able Venetia Williams and the market should be heeded. With no solid form elsewhere, it may be worth taking a chance that El Distintivo can prove good enough.
