Able King is taken to score here at the expense of Shaman and Cash And Carry. The selection has by far the best form in the race having been in winning form around Uttoxeter last time out. It was a long time comming as he had finished in second place twice beforehand and it was only a matter of time before his maiden tag was broken. So he looks the type to progress further and is therefore one to note in the market. Shaman has won at Plumpton and Fontwell this summer and had looked progressive but it did look as though the handicapper had finally caught up with him at Market Rasen last time out so is to be treated with caution. Cash And Carry wears blinkers for the first time to help sharpen him up. The stable had been a little quiet this month but did bounce back with a winner at the beginnining of the week to warrant respect here. But for the winner we return to Able King.
