A strong enough contest for the track can be taken by PAIRC NA GCAPALL, while Gaelic Flight and De Soto are among others considered. The selection won a Huntingdon handicap chase in the spring by the proverbial street, acts on fast ground and goes well fresh, so his four month break will not be an issue. Neil King has his string in form and we will side with him. Gaelic Flight has been well placed to win four of his last eight starts, and although they have all been over shorter than this he has won over three miles and on fast ground in the past, so he can remain very competitive. Trip and ground suit De Soto, who won comfortably at Bangor and is now up 9lbs for that, and he can't be ruled out, while College Ace has enough ability to go close but does tend to need a run after a break, so five months off the track before today won't help his cause. Tempsford ran well from this mark here last time and is another who would not be winning out of turn, but the vote goes to PAIRC NA GCAPALL.
