Verdict
GOLD PRESENT's second to Qualando at Exeter, when Blackthorn Prince was well behind, was franked when the winner landed the Fred Winter at Cheltenham. Nicky Henderson's charge is certain to have improved in the interim and will be a short price for this. Flat winner Eco Warrior was a fair third on his hurdling debut at Warwick and may be the one for forecast-backers as none of the others have show much in the way of ability so far, though newcomer Arsenale was lightly-raced on the level.
