In depth

Verdict

Kettlewell beat a subsequent Flat winner in a Fakenham bumper in June and came good over hurdles over course and distance last month. He should win more races but is trying to give 7lb here to a potentially smart prospect in the shape of KILLYGLASS. Emma Lavelle's six-year-old won the Aintree Champion Bumper in April and it will be a big surprise if he doesn't go on to make a name for himself over timber. The others are probably playing for places with Worcester fourth Tempuran preferred to the returning Sonoftheking on this occasion.
