Verdict
Perouse, Croix de Guerre and Space Star look the three to concentrate on in this notices chase and the vote is given to Perouse. The selection was the best of these over hurdles and made a pleasing debut over fences when beating Dawton. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Croix de Guerre rates the main danger as he also won well last time out when beating Space Star but he has a penalty for that win and Space Star may gain his revenge on these revised terms. One Cornetto is another last time out winner that could go well but this looks more competitive than the race he beat Mister Flint in last time and he will need to improve.Of the remainder Ela Re may do better in handicaps but at least will like the prevailing ground but for the winner we return to Perouse.
