Verdict

French Opera gets the confident selection here ahead of Peak Seasons and Most Definitely. Nicky Henderson's gelding won on his hurdling debut at Taunton on good ground in decisive fashion. Whilst he has to give weight away because of his winners penalty, this race looks very weak and connections will be bitterly disappointed if he fails to score again. Most Definately makes his hurdling debut today and rated 90 at his peak on the flat, he shouldn't be underestimated although his jumping will need to be up to scratch. Peak Seasons is exposed but consistent and he would be a live danger if the ground stays dry, however he is yet to win in 14 starts over timber. At a price Backlash could go well, however this looks a straight-forward task for French Opera.
