Billy Congo's run in the previous race will be a pointer to the chances of Westerly Breeze, who was second to that one at Bangor when Toast And Jam was tailed off. Seymour Legend has suddenly found some form and bids for a hat-trick after March's course and distance victory. Sir Dylan won at Wincanton 10 days ago after a good run on the all-weather while Thomas Junior was successful at Exeter in March. SUKIYAKI hasn't made the anticipated progress but this is probably his easiest task for some time and, though he gets little respite from the handicapper, Charlie Longsdon's six-year-old is worth a second look today.
