Verdict

A watching brief is the advice here as high-class hurdler In Contrast should have little difficulty in making a winning start over fences. At his best going left handed, Philip Hobbs' gelding has so much in hand over his rivals, he will be a very short price to oblige. Best of the rest is undoubtedly Island Sound. A Listed winner on the flat, he has been somewhat disappointing over timber and latterly showing little aptitude for jumping fences.
