Fairway Freddy is a Plumpton specialist and has become increasingly difficult to predict. Fanzio hasn’t won since April of last year but is 12lb lower now. All have taken well to fences but the first-named pair are probably the most progressive with Charlie Longsdon’s gelding a relentless galloper who might just run the finish out of the Nicholls’ entry, who has been a little too brave at his fences on some occasions. Godrevy Point is making his chasing bow but should have a future at this level.
