    Verdict

Trailboss followed up a win at Stratford with a second at Kelso but will again be shouldering a penalty. Exmoor Beast is one of several interesting newcomers to hurdling with Renardeau also a winner on the Flat. Port Lockroy placed twice over 1m4f at Dundalk when trained by Joseph O’Brien and Gregor was second on his hurdles bow at Southwell. BEHOLDEN wasn’t foot-perfect at Huntingdon but shaped with plenty of promise and could go one better here if lessons have been learned. Battle March has placed in bumpers and is another worth a market check.
