Verdict
A Group 3 winner on the level, MAPUTO made a winning start over hurdles on fast ground at Perth last month. Normal progress can see him get the better of Tangolan, who scored over hurdles AT Market Rasen in between a couple of wins over fences. Fields of Glory is worth noting on his hurdling bow having gone close in a bumper at Southwell in May while bumper winner Florrie Boy also has his first start over timber. Rated 89 on the Flat, Linguine is a decent handicapper and could go well along with Authorative.
