      Verdict

      SIDNEY MELBOURNE was arguably the best of these on the Flat, winning a Sandown handicap last August over 1m6f. Despite returning from a break, he will enjoy the good ground and could be a bit of value on his hurdles bow getting 10lb from previous winner Palawi. John Quinn's gelding has already won over timber at Haydock and Sedgefield, however, and won't go down without a fight. Grams And Ounces' third at Wetherby in January was his best effort to date under NH Rules and he looks the pick of the remainder ahead of Zambuka.
