Verdict

CLARET CLOAK looked set for another good season when third on his reappearance at Ascot but he's been well beaten in two runs in decent company since. He has his sights lowered here, however, and may have the class to defy top weight ahead of the back-to-form Seventh Sky. Dreambrook Lady is another who's staged a bit of a revival lately and Jeremy Scott's mare can't be ignored but Grams And Ounces is still paying the price for last year's exploits and Iolith may need another race to put him straight. Trip The Light is the type to go well off a low weight and he may be the pick of the remainder.
