BIG G and Our Colossus finished fourth and fifth in a 2m Worcester maiden hurdle last month and it's hard to find a reason for placings not to be confirmed. The Newland gelding kept on nicely enough up the straight to be beaten just over four lengths and should be all the better for what was a first run in over seven months. Our Colossus should improve too but has seven lengths to find with the selection. Independence has a first run over timber after four solid bumper efforts, including a Fontwell success, and is worth noting on hurdling debut, whilst Storm Arcadio and Groom D'oudairies may prove handicap propositions in time.
