A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Maree Hall, Kilrogan and Reasonably Sure and the narrow vote is given to Maree Hall. The selection has been in fair form in hurdles of late and although slightly disappointing last time out it is interesting that his shrewd connections go straight into handicaps on this his chasing debut he has conditions to suit and he looks a value bet in an open affair. Kilrogan rates the main danger as he is another that has been in good form of late. He is another that will like the ground and with the promising Nick Schofield taking off a handy five pounds he will not be far away. Reasonably Sure ran well last time out when second behind Physical Force. He looks sure to run his race again but the fact that he remains a maiden after 26 attempts is off putting. Granite Man had very chance until falling last time out and if his confidence has not been effected he will not be far away off what looks a lenient mark. Of the remainder Myceanean Prince could go well off his light weight but consistency is not his strong point and with this in mind we are happy to return to Maree Hall who looks a value bet in an open affair.
