Verdict

ALLERFORD JACK was badly hampered by a faller when unseating Michael Nolan at Worcester 10 days ago. He deserves a chance to make amends for that mishap but will have to be at his best to give weight to some equally in-form rivals including Ballybough Gorta, who has won three out of four over fences albeit at a slightly lower level. Papradon seems a bit more reliable this year and is chasing a hat-trick after wins here and at Worcester while Sagredo is upped in trip after his close-up second over 2m4f at Market Rasen and has the champ on board. That's The Deal is still too high in the weights but it will be interesting to see how the lightly-raced Bowntobebad fares on his chasing bow.
