Verdict

The four-year-olds Hepijeu and Russian Bolero have already had a run over fences and the former has won over hurdles since finishing second at Worcester. Both have a chance with their weight-for-age allowance but form lines suggest they might struggle to beat MIDNIGHT GAME. The latter was a very useful hurdler in his younger days and is still capable, as he showed when a fair fifth in a competitive handicap at the Galway Festival last month. He's preferred to Voix D'eau, though Harry Fry's charge looks the type to flourish over fences in time. Bonne Fee was a consistent sort over hurdles and she shouldn't be fazed by a switch to chasing.
