BORN FOR WAR (NAP) should make a better chaser than hurdler and starts out over the larger obstacles off a lenient-looking mark. He has been placed in bumpers and over timber and was second in a point in 2016. Birch Hill has won between the flags and three times over hurdles. He was second at Cartmel on his fencing bow while Cafe Au Lait is one from one over fences, though was behind the selection over timber last time at Southwell and is 8lb worse off. The switch to chasing might suit Allez Jacques so he’s preferred to Burrows Lane and Boss Mans Ladder.
