Verdict

The Risky Viking gets a narrow vote over the likes of Yeah But No But and Noeud Vert, with Ace Of Clubs, Natoumba and Leo McGarry holding minor place claims. The Risky Viking only has the one gear but has had the misfortune to bump into a couple of useful sorts on each of his last two starts in the shape of Joacci and Schu Shine. Although unable to reel in the latter at Fontwell last time, he had the rest well beaten off, and although this represents a drop in distance here, he should make his presence felt. Yeah But No But has been off the track since falling on his last outing between the flags just over eight months ago but is with the right yard and cannot be discounted either. Noeud Vert did not shape too badly at Chepstow but will be seen to better effect in handicap company, while Ace Of Clubs has failed to progress since going hurdling and may need even more time. Natoumba looks held by the selection on recent evidence, and Leo McGarry is the youngster of the party but has shown some promise. All in all, this is equally as trappy as the first division, with just a small wager suggested on The Risky Viking.
