Verdict

STRIKING OUT was well supported in an amateurs’ race at Ludlow a week ago but got going too late and was beaten a neck. He is not straightforward but clearly on a decent mark at present. Ballybeen is 0-11 but has yet to finish out of the frame over fences and makes more appeal than Guguss Collonges. Pilot Show won at Catterick late last year but Justshortofabubble has the more recent form and has won around here, as has Martalmix'jac. Jack Doyen could also figure if fully wound-up.
