BALLYCARNEY ran as though some was amiss when pulled up at Cheltenham in April in the race in which Frontier Dancer finished fifth and Dom D'Orgeval eighth. He's a lot better than that and has been given time off to recover from whatever was ailing him so get the vote. Like Ice is still heading in the right direction and won at Towcester 11 days ago while Estates Recovery won this 12 months ago when trained by Philip Hobbs, though is 9lb higher this time around. Inside Dealer proved his stamina at Wincanton last month while Bold Perk and Double Chocolate must have some sort of chance but this could be too tough for Ludlow third Amroth Bay and former winner Gallik Dawn isn't the force of old.
