    Verdict

Capitoul takes a huge drop in class and is rated a pound superior to DOUBLY CLEVER, who concedes 6lb. But the Richard Newland entry appears to have lost the plot whereas Johnny Farrelly’s runner is proven at this level and is fair form at present. Clearance is not of this having won twice on the all-weather this year. He didn’t show much on his hurdles bow but that was a much better race than this.
