SAND BLAST (NAP) has come up against a couple of useful early-season novices since winning over this trip at Worcester in June. He might have too much for course and distance winner Carrigkerry, who has been struggling under penalties in novice company. Isle Of Ewe was second in a couple of bumpers in the spring but is tackling hurdles for the first time and hasn't raced since early May. Black Hawk and Duc de Seville both have some improving to do.
