Commanche has dropped to a fair mark but this will be his first try on Fibresand in his 63rd career start. Giant Spark makes his all-weather debut but Coiste Bodhar's last nine runs have been on this surface, though his last three have been over 5f including his recent victory for which he's penalised. Scott Dixon also runs SPOWARTICUS and the seven-year-old has been knocking on the door off similar marks lately. His luck may change today as he is 5lb better off than when beaten a length-and-three-quarters by Monsieur Jimmy over course and distance last time.
