Skinsey Finnegan is a lightly raced and progressive type who looks more than capable of giving weight and a beating to his rivals in a modest contest. Chris Dwyer's charge showed little in novice events but took advantage of a lenient rating to score on his handicap bow at Folkestone in December. The son of Fresh Breeze ran respectably when runner-up next time and, with further improvement anticipated, looks the one to beat under A P McCoy. Pharbeitfrome comes here in good heart after getting his head in front at Sedgefield last week but was all out to prevail and is likely to struggle under a 7lb penalty. Arctic Spirit showed a return to form last time but is more exposed than the selection and looks high enough in the weights while Erin Alley has proved disappointing since landing a Plumpton handicap this time last year. Ex-Irish winning chaser Jolly Side has had his problems and does not look the force of old on recent evidence.
